When we reached the airport to board out flight back to Sg, we were informed that our original flight leaving HK at 6.30pm had been overbooked! Yes overbooked. How rare an occasion will it happen to you? And we were asked to board the next flight THE NEXT DAY. How is this possible? Even though Cathay could compensate us, we insisted a flight back that day. And in the end, they managed to put us in the next flight leaving at 8pm and FREE UPGRADE TO BUSINESS CLASS! We nodded our heads in sync for that! The short trip was rejuvenating though it left me craving more and a longer stay. Urm, i think it's time to plan for my yearly must go destination... Bangkok!
