Returned from Sydney...

I'm back from a good 5 day trip!

Almost feel like uploading all the pictures I've taken there but the flesh is weak though the heart is willing. No jet lag of course but the 7.5 hours flight back did sort of drain me a little.

I'd super loads of fun taking pictures and all of the alluring scenaries there. Other than that, I don't exactly wanna mention much about shopping... the things, transportation and food are really cut-throat expensive! Phew. I'm quite glad I resisted in some temptations while shopping. It's just not me to overspend in something I feel it don't deserve to.

Sydnedised? I made up this word of course. Ha!

Yeah! The long awaited short getaway trip from fast-paced Singapore. I hope this trip recharges me for more confronting rigours in times to come.

"Ma, Do You Remember?"

In Source Theatre's going Seoul for this event named 3rd Physical Theatre Festival next week!

On the show "Ma, Do You Remember?"
A simple title, simple but not less. It examines the notion of “mother”, from a physiological to a philosophical point of view. Rich in Asian literature, the piece especially draws its resources from the Chinese and Indian philosophies and poems related to a greater meaning of “mother”.

Break a leg for the show ladies! It's gonna intensify the audience for sure. :)

Villa Bali

I must recommend another great chill-out drinking place where you'll feel like you're almost in Bali...Villa Bali!

It's somewhere near the PSA building. Except a tad too warm, drinks, music and ambience fits perfectly. Most importantly, the red Sangria I ordered is nice! You seldom get nice Sangria these days. Satisfaction. I wanna come here again!

April Fools' Day

When we were younger, brazen and mischievous thoughts always ran up our sleeves on April 1st, aka April Fools' Day.

Today, one of my colleagues commented that he was being tricked by someone and realised to his dismay that it's April Fools' Day today. He asked, " Have we all lost our youth and laughter that we didn't realise it's April Fools' Day today?"

No we did not forget at all. It's just that the getting on in age makes us too occupied with things more imperative. Or maybe he's right. The childlikeness in us has perished and we have all became austere and solemn adults?

I guess my laughter is the best route to dig into those artless past, where every moment of reaction and impulse becomes so spontaneous and unpretentious.

Whether or not you have been made a mockery today, it's good to experience that naivety again. :)

Intoxication
