I guess James got a little high and decided to grab the mic and sing his heart out. It was James's last day at work! I'm really gonna miss him. Such a fatherly figure who always takes care of me at work. *Hugs*

Honesty

I guess sometimes we really have to empty our conscience and reveal what truly hides beneath that closet of ours.

Is it possible to come uttermostly clean with someone close to you? I guess it's never possible even if I face my naked self.

I'm glad I attempted to with someone who should somehow, form a part of my life someday. It may not be absolutely forthright, but at least it's a good start, hopefully. It is time, seriously.

I always feel blissful for those who tie the knot with their love ones. And I start to ponder, will I be as blissful as well when my big day arrives? It's a question that always makes me feel both anticipative and fearful. Come what may... :)

Lunar

I patronised Lunar on Friday, as recommended by James. It is a asian fusion bar with quite impressive decor. I heard the decor of the whole place costs half a million! But well, only if you like chinese livebands coupled with occasional cheesy performances, but still graded entertaining. These people come from Taiwan and China. Oh, and of course the 16 hot coyote babes who entice men with their sexy groovy moves!

Fantasy

This scenario flashed across my mind just now. Both seemingly surreal and tangible. I'd visualised myself standing on a platform and singing my hearts out to people who enviably applaud me for my moving voice.

Is this a fantasy? Or a turning true phenomenon? Haha.

My Vesak Day

This morning, I did a mini spring cleaning for my room. Well seriously I wouldn't really be so hardworking if not my parents wanted to change my room flooring. That will equate to massive ransacking and disposal of things out of the room. But interestingly enough, as I started to excavate items and photos which have almost been buried for almost a decade or so, I began to recollect memories both pleasant and worth longing for. Thanks to the spring cleaning afterall. Haa.

Birthday, Christmas and New Year greeting cards I have received for the past decade. I still keep them alright!

I miss those part time Cinnabon days while I was still schooling in SIM...

These photos and many other more are remnants of past memories which are difficult to pursue anymore. Although the photos were somewhat blurring due to its aging over the years, I still want to keep them for another decade and more decades to come!

On a more solemn note, I was appalled to realise the number of deaths that occurred to date due to the Szechuan earthquake. The number is just multiplying everyday.

While I'm now comfortably nested in my house, I can't help but feel that tinge of agony by this serious calamity that has befall on China. Numerous and indefinite lives are forsaken, survivors maimed and traumatised, buildings and architecture wrecked, fear and uncertainty lurks. I guess we can never totally feel the kind of wound being inflicted on them.

On this holy Vesak Day, I send silent blessings to the earthquake victims, who had both demised and survived. May everything revert to tranquillity again.

This is an aesthetic chinese poem which I came across some times back while watching this Korean drama "My Name is Samsoon".

The words are simplistic but transpires deep dolefulness and yet great strength towards our attitude in love and life.

I'd late dinner in Astons...

I have just devoured a really late dinner cum supper which consists of a set of black pepper grilled fish, coleslaw and BBQ beans at Astons just an hour ago.

And actually I wasn't really hungry. Argh! I guess gluttoness conquered me. Utterly sinful! But afterall... who can resist Astons? Hee...

Apparently I heard that they have opened up some chain of outlets already, 2 of which are in Bedok and Serangoon. But I really hope the quality of the food doesn't compromise with time with the commercialisation of more outlets, for this often happens in the F&B sector.

Anyways... if you haven't tried Astons, please do go and convince your taste buds!

An afternoon @ Goodwood Park

Dan and I skipped lunch today and whetted our appetite for the English high tea at Goodwood Park Hotel instead. What a brilliant way of shielding the afternoon strong heat! Hee.

And we absolutely love it. Laid-back and cosy ambience, delectable spread of high tea snacks and desserts with any 2 wholesome drinks from their menu! Definitely worth patronising again and again... :)
