"The spirit of the age is filled with the disdain for thinking."

Food has transformed into such a trivial in my life.

It is just a novelty at times. It is just something when I don't want to starve too much. It is just something that breaks me away from mundane work for an hour. It is just something I consume for the sake of living. It is majorly unsubstantial.

Food has just lost its appeal. I'm not fascinated or animated anymore. I don't know what else.

Nothing.

Gone.

wrapping up

Yeah things seemed to be kinda wrapping up a bit. Everything and anything of the slightest sort, I suppose.

Malacca had been a fantastic weekend getaway before I start to engross myself with April.

Right, April. It meant that the first quarter of the year just marvellously cruised by like that before I realised it. It hasn't been too bad a first quarter as I begin to detect traces of myself gradually. I can't wait to unravel more.

Things will wrap up more hopefully, in the direction I desire.

"The roses, the lovely notes, the dining and dancing are all welcome and splendid. But when the Godiva is gone, the gift of real love is having someone who'll go the distance with you. Someone who, when the wedding day limo breaks down, is willing to share a seat on the bus."

-Oprah Winfrey
Wishing Darren and Kelly everlasting happiness in their next phase of life! :)

flea fatigue

8 hrs of fatigue only reaped $48. Flea mkt is no mean feat but we still had fun... :)

Other than the letter assuring that the past year's toil and travail has not been in vain, it has been a week of unsettledness and jitters for me.

Environment, human, speech and my own emotions never felt so obscure before, as though they have never prevailed.

Perhaps it's disorientation. Perhaps I'm mazed. Perhaps I'm absorbed into multiple facets of myself.

I have to do things I've never or imagined I would have done before. I abhor it but I have to do it. I really don't wish to do it but I have to do it.

Will I be truly requited? Will they reciprocate my intentions? They have to let me know else I'll start to condemn myself.

Is it obligatory to think like this? Was there an option given to me in the first place?

Adapt and accommodate are the remedies.

I know I can do this.

I have to be.
